What is Brainspotting?

Brainspotting is a powerful, brain-based therapy that helps access and process the deep emotional material that lives in the body and nervous system. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, high stress, trauma, or repeating patterns you can’t explain, Brainspotting gets to the root—without needing to retell your story or figure everything out with words.


Brainspotting is a somatic and neurological technique that uses your eye position to connect with specific points in the brain where unprocessed experiences, emotions, and beliefs are stored. It was developed by Dr. David Grand as a way to access the part of the brain where deep, unconscious material lives—and where real change begins.

When we hold our gaze in a specific spot, it can open a direct connection to those stuck or frozen layers of memory, pain, or emotional charge. With gentle, focused presence, we give your brain and body space to release, reorganize, and reset—often in a way that feels surprising, deep, and deeply relieving.
