About Me

Hypnotherapist

Hi, I’m Mercedeh.

I’m a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and Brainspotting Practitioner, trained in somatic, trauma-informed approaches and a member of the American Hypnosis Association (AHA). I hold a BA in Psychology and an MA in Human Behavior—but more importantly, I know what it’s like to try everything and still feel stuck.


I’ve always been fascinated by the mind—why we do what we do, why we repeat the same patterns even when we know better, and why some people break through while others stay trapped.


When I found hypnosis and brainspotting, everything shifted.
I wasn’t just curious—I was desperate for something that actually worked. I had spent years exhausted, triggered, retraumatized. I wasn’t avoiding the work—I just couldn’t move forward, because what I’d been through was
bigger than me, bigger than logic or willpower alone.

Understanding my trauma wasn’t enough.
I needed a way to
process it.
Hypnosis and brainspotting gave me that. For the first time, my mind stopped fighting me. I wasn’t just managing symptoms—I was actually healing.

That’s why I do this work. Because I know the wall you hit when nothing else works.
And I know what happens when something finally
